Hi, I’m Johnny Neal, also known as the Eloquent Bard, a non-binary British voice actor with over 15 years of experience as an actor. Having studied and worked extensively across the acting industry, I bring a deep understanding of performance and storytelling to every voice-over project. My warm, colourful, and dynamic voice, paired with a British RP (Received Pronunciation) accent, makes me the ideal choice for projects that demand versatility and professionalism.

About Me
Whenever anyone asks me how I got started as an actor, the first memory that jumps to mind is dancing over the backs of my parents sofa to “Step in Time” from Mary Poppins. Looking for an outlet for my energy and inclinations I was enrolled in an extra-curricular drama and dance school. My first taste of the professional world came when I began working in London’s West End at seven years old in musicals and plays.
Since those days I have grown and matured, but I never lost the spark that started me on my journey. I earned a musical theatre BA Hons and went on to study Meisner Technique with the prestigious Impulse Company, one of the few remaining repertory companies still teaching the work of Sanford Meisner the way he wanted.
Voice over is often overlooked as a path for actors, however the more I worked on my own technique, the more I realised how much I invested in the creation of an original voice for each character.
I have been able to take the same approach that I would in my stage or film projects and inject that into vibrant vocal performances for AAA video games such as Assassin’s Creed, commercials, corporate videos, narration and much more; combining this with my years of studying martial arts and acrobatics for motion capture work.
I will use my talents, natural exuberance and honed technique to bring to life any script and give it that bardic flair.
